Welcome to Guestling Church
HARVEST FESTIVAL 2023 AT GUESTLING BRADSHAW SCHOOL
Some of us went to Guestling Bradshaw School for their Harvest Festival Assembly. The hall held a terrific amount of fruit, tinned goods and other produce which had been donated by parents and children. Many parents were in attendance. The assembly was led by Sandi (our vicar) Shobhan (Head Teacher) and Meriel (from Pett). They all contributed to the event in making it relevant and impressive in the care and thought, which set a loving and caring ambience in the hall. The children all sang, and some individual students present made verbal contributions, even using microphones which was very impressive. The whole event was wonderful. All of the parents, children and staff were a true example of Christian values in their kindness and generosity to others less fortunate than ourselves. Beneficiaries from the finance raised and produce are a local charity as well as Farm Africa. God’s spirit is alive and well in Guestling Bradshaw School. All would be welcome to come and visit St Laurence Church and see the beautiful old building which is our local church. God bless and thank you on behalf of all of us at St Laurence.
